Dublin SPCA

The Dublin SPCA is Ireland’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity, celebrating 172 years rescuing, rehabilitating, treating and re-homing, sick, injured and cruelly treated animals in Dublin.   In 2011 alone the Dublin SPCA successfully rescued 4,400 animals, the majority of which have been successfully rehomed in the loving environment they deserve.

When animals first come to the Dublin SPCA, many are suffering from neglect, malnourishment and various other disorders and health issues. A good, balanced diet is an important first step to recovery. PURINA® supports the Dublin SPCA by supplying all of the cat and dog food for their Mount Venus Road rescue and rehoming facility. We also provide a starter pack and adoption guide to help cats and dogs make the transition from shelter life to their new home as comfortable as possible.
