At Purina®, we use the term ‘natural’ to describe dog food ingredients to which nothing has been added and which have maintained their natural composition (as per the FEDIAF Code of good labelling practice). We are proud to declare many of our selected ingredients as ‘natural’.

  High Quality Chicken

We are proud that high quality chicken is the first ingredient in our chicken variety dog food recipe. Chicken is not only delicious, but it also provides essential amino acids to maintain lean muscle mass and support a healthy immune system.

  High Quality Lamb

High quality lamb is the number one ingredient in our delicious lamb variety dog food recipe. Lamb helps provide your dog with essential amino acids, which helps maintain lean muscle mass and can support their healthy immune system.

  High quality Salmon

We use high quality salmon in our delicious Beyond® Simply 9® Rich in Salmon with Oats, and better yet, it’s the first ingredient. Salmon is a delicious source of high quality protein and is known for Omega 3 fatty acids, helping to support a dog’s healthy skin and shiny coat.

  Whole Barley & Other Cereals

We believe there is a place for cereal in dogs' diets. That's why Beyond® contains a combination of whole barley and other cereals which can supply dogs with a steadier release of energy than other carbohydrates, helping to keep them moving for longer. What's more, by containing body soluble and insoluble fibre, these cereals also help digestion.


Fat is an essential part of a healthy balanced diet, as it's an important source of energy. Fat for dogs can also a source of essential fatty acids, such as Omega 3 and Omega 6, which are important to help maintain overall health, good skin, a glossy coat, healthy joints, and a healthy immune system.


Sourced with care, dried carrots, support the composition of each 100% complete kibble. Dried carrot is an ingredient that contains a high amount of insoluble fibre.


Sourced with care, dried peas support the composition of each 100% complete kibble. Dried peas are an ingredient that have a high carbohydrate content.

  Dried Beetpulb

Dried beet pulp is a source of soluble and insoluble fibre that can help support digestive health.


Sourced with care, dried spinach supports the composition of each 100% complete kibble. Dried spinach along with the other vegetable ingredients contain protein, carbohydrate and fibre.

  Sweet Potato

Sweet potato for dogs? Absolutely! This selected natural ingredient has been sourced with care and is part of our Beyond® Superfood Blend recipe.


Due to the nature of the raw material composition and cooking process, some trace elements and vitamins need to come from a purified source to ensure that dogs gets all these essential micronutrients to stay healthy. We therefore supplement our dog food with vitamins and trace element salts to ensure they are 100% complete and balanced.

Vit. A: 21.000 UI/kg

Vitamin A is a key vitamin involved in many body functions including growth, development and cell renewal. It also plays a key role in the development and maintenance of the immune system and vision as well as being essential in the maintenance of healthy skin.

Vit. D3: 680 UI/kg

Vitamin D helps maintain strong bones by supporting the skeleton development of growing puppies. It also acts during adulthood to prevent the occurrence of bone fractures and to help keep the jawbone strong and healthy.

Vit. E: 110 UI/kg

Vitamin E is the so-called anti-ageing vitamin that protects cell membranes from damage. By recycling damaging, free radicals it works as part of the body’s overall natural defences along with the immune system.

Ferrous sulphate monohydrate: 220 mg/kg

Ferrous sulfate is an available source of Iron for the body. Iron helps with the transportation of oxygen through the blood to the dog’s muscles and it is key in maintaining the count and function of red blood cells.

Cupric sulphate pentahydrate: 44 mg/kg

These additives are available sources of Copper which contribute to many cell metabolic processes and also help the cells from premature ageing.

Zinc sulphate monohydrate: 370 mg/kg

These additives are available sources of Zinc which contribute to many cell metabolic processes and also help the cells from premature ageing.

Manganous sulphate monohydrate: 105 mg/kg

This is a source of Manganese which is essential for the activity of many enzymes in the body.
