I feed my dog Purina DentaLife and his gums started to bleed, is this normal?

If your dog’s gums begin to bleed whilst chewing Purina Dentalife they may have a dental health condition.

Bleeding gums are common in conditions such as gingivitus. For more information about gingivitus and how it may affect your dogs dental health take a look at our article here.

If your dog experiences any oral changes such as bleeding, we advise you to check with your vet the severity of this gum inflammation. Your vet will advise you if a dental cleaning is required or if you can continue to use dental chews.
