I am really impressed with this dog food. My puppy (8 months) is not really a fan of dry food but we find wet food doesn't agree with her stomach. It felt like we had tried everything, once we put her on this she was happy to eat it. We also used it for training, rather than using high energy treats we find normal food works better. This was super successful and we will definitely be buying this again.
Our new puppy Odin aged 11 weeks loves PRO PLAN Optistart Large Athletic Puppy Dry Dog Food Chicken. His previous food left him a bit 'windy', but after carefully integrating Purina into his diet this has improved dramatically. We also use it as a treat for training which Odin really enjoys. Definitely happy with the product and will likely purchase for Odin going forward
Our Husky x Lab can be fussy over the food she eats and become bored easily but she absolutely loved this Purina puppy food. Since moving her meals across her fur seems even softer & smoother and she seems really healthy. Unfortunately, she has started going off her meals a bit again, although it has taken longer than with other brands. To start with she'd clean the bowl in one sitting but recently has started leaving it after a few nibbles and coming back to finish it later.
I would definitely keep feeding her Purina but would want to mix the flavours up for her.
My puppy is 8 months old and been a fussy little beggar since the beginning. We've tried raw, cooked, cold pressed, and kibble and up until now hasn't been overly fussed about anything. We'll, I don't know what it is about this stuff but he absolutely loves it! He finishes what's in his bowl and looks for more which is completely unheard of, we've even started using it for training. His poo is consistent and firm and we had no issues switching. His coat is beautiful and soft and he's abound with energy. We're an all round happy crew!
