My favourite thing about Stirling is...
In the evening, he acts like he has springs in his feet, he'll jump 6 feet up to catch the ball thrown by either of us. He will also sit and watch the television with us. He knows the music to different commercials and when his favourites or favourite shows come on, he'll make a beeline for the front of the tv.
The biggest challenge with Stirling is...
getting him to realize not all other dogs are a threat (we're getting there).
The most surprising thing about owning a Australian Shepherd Dog is...
the intelligence, the ease at training, even at an older age.
What I wish I’d known about Australian Shepherd Dogs is...
socialization is a major key to keeping them calm, cool and collected on walks where other dogs are present.
