Meet Niamh

Border Collie, 2 years old

🏠 Suburbs dog
🍷 Lives with adults only

My favourite thing about Niamh is...

She is a total one off! Barks at the most random things and she becomes so affectionate if she thinks she's hurt you or been bad. She loves socialising more with people than other dogs but she does love her walks with her friends too. She loves her home comforts and abundance of toys especially her squeaky ones and running round in her jumpers. She likes to think she's a trendsetter in fashion.

The biggest challenge with Niamh is...

Her car chasing and barking at anything she sees. She doesn't like large cars and vehicles or busy roads.

The most surprising thing about owning a Border Collie is...

How super intelligent they are and how invtune they can be. They are so neuro diverse that their quirky ways are renowned within the collie community.

What I wish I’d known about Border Collies is...

How much hard work they are. Because they are super intelligent and always want to be on the go doing a job, they will find their own jobs if not entertained 24/7. Definitely not a breed for the faint hearted but so much love to give.

Did you know?

American psychologist Dr. Stanley Coren classified the Border Collie as the most intelligent breed of dog, ranking first out of 133 breeds.
