Say Hello to Hamish

My favourite thing about Hamish is...
when I ask for a cuddle, he comes over and lays his head on my lap. He is so clever and can open doors and sometimes my son would wake up to Hamish in his room and wanting a cuddle. His best friend is my grandson and his smile when the two of them are running around the back garden, is the biggest, most loveliest smile ever.
The biggest challenge with Hamish is...
his separation issues. He chews through his bedding when we are out and I often have to replace his bed. He is terrified of fireworks and loud noises. He barks a lot when we leave the house and I can hear him all of the way up my street.
The most surprising thing about owning a Border Collie & Siberian Husky is...
how gentle and clever he is. He is the most loveable dog and he loves everyone who enters my home. Even though he is nearly 16 years old, he still runs around playing like he is a pup.
