Hello from Seth
Boston Terrier, 8 years old
My favourite thing about Seth is...
I love the silly faces he makes. He sleeps with his tongue out and some times his eyes are open but he is sound asleep. He can hold things in both paws like we hold things in our hands. And he snores like an old man (no offense). Stays by my side 24/7. Brings me his treats when he knows I'm sad.
The biggest challenge with Seth is...
The biggest challenge with any Boston is potty training. At 8 he is now finally going to the door to let me know he wants out. All Bostons love to destroy their toys. Chew guard does not deter then, any treat that says long lasting - lasts a Boston maybe 10 to 15 seconds. They also can get out of any kind of harness known to man.
The most surprising thing about owning a Boston Terrier is...
as a puppy Seth chewed rocks. They do the unexpected. He likes to be fed with a fork. It's like feeding a child. He can be spiteful. Everybody thinks Boston Terriers are black and white period, Mine is brown and white.
What I wish I’d known about Boston Terriers is...
How hard they are to train. If you like some alone time, never with this breed. They are a companion dog.
Did you know?
This breed is great at tricks and a Border Terrier called Dexter has even mastered the skateboard.
