Chihuahua (Smooth Coat), 4 years old
My favourite thing about Louie is...
Louie as a puppy was very mischievous! He was a handful when he was naughty & we couldn’t help but laugh at his antics. He has grown into a fine little boy & loves his smooth fur brushed. He loves to get treats; we try not to give him too many but he has tantrums if we don’t. He loves to be warm & loves us to cuddle him. He means the world to us & we’re so glad he’s a happy little Chi.
The biggest challenge with Louie is...
Louie used to take socks & underwear drying on a radiator, run outside & bury them in my pots. He'd cover them with soil & bring them back inside shaking them in his mouth sending mud everywhere. We have had to chase him to get them back to wash again.
The most surprising thing about owning a Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) is...
Looking after a Chi is much the same as having a baby. They must be warm & they sleep a lot, eat, poo, pee & play.
What I wish I’d known about Chihuahuas (Smooth Coat) is...
Chi’s bark a lot at the slightest noise!
