Say Hello to Meg

Chorkie, 4 years old

🏠 Suburbs dog
🍼 Lives with children
Meg was adopted!

She came from AA Dog Rescue .

My favourite thing about Meg is...

She is so small, but so protective of us all. She loves to play rough 'n' tumble, and also loves cuddles - you can see the love in her eyes when she looks at you. She was so frightened and timid when we adopted her but grows in confidence every day.

The biggest challenge with Meg is...

She is a yapper... every time someone goes to the door or walks past the garden fence, and she barks at other dogs when on her lead. She is mostly ok and quieter off lead now.

The most surprising thing about owning a Chorkie is...

How fierce they act but how sweet and cuddly they are to people they know and trust.

What I wish I’d known about Chorkies is...

Chihuahua/ Yorkies are both known yappers, so this could be a problem to watch out for. We are trying to train Meg not to bark when someone comes to the door but it's one step forward, 2 steps back!

Did you know?

They can be quite vocal and like the sound of their own voice so training will be required.
