Meet Charlie

Cockapoo, 2 years old

🏠 Suburbs dog
🍼 Lives with children
Charlie is a Purina puppy!

My favourite thing about Charlie is...

He is extremely sociable both with other dogs and people. Often we are stopped on our walks and asked if we can let him play with other young dogs or those who are a bit nervous because he's so friendly and good-natured.

The biggest challenge with Charlie is...

There aren't too many challenges but the main one is how the mud and dirt seems to stick to his fur in the winter - he's like a sponge! I am looking to get a body suit for him to help with that this winter (but at least he doesn't shed his hair which is a huge bonus!)

The most surprising thing about owning a Cockapoo is...

How often they have to be groomed - we take Charlie every 7 weeks because otherwise he seems to get quite uncomfortable and his hair can get knotted in some places.

What I wish I’d known about Cockapoos is...

Be prepared for them to get very attached to one person and not want to be left alone initially. Charlie has grown out of this a lot but when he was a puppy it could make things quite difficult as he was very attached to me and still is, compared to the rest of the family.

Did you know?

They’re known as ‘people dogs’ and love to spend time with their families.
