Meet Scuba
Cockapoo, 2 years old
My favourite thing about Scuba is...
His character, he understands so much and tries hard to tell us what he wants. He’s a handsome fellow, loving and playful but knows when to back off if he meets a “ friend” who’s a bit too boisterous. He has bouts of allergy but will stop nibbling his nails when I say, just like my husband who does the same!
The biggest challenge with Scuba is...
Grooming, he hated it and after a very unpleasant time being restrained we found a lovely lady who is extra caring and takes all the time needed, sedatives helped a little. She’s took 5 hours with scuba on his first visit
The most surprising thing about owning a Cockapoo is...
Routine, like clockwork, especially 8pm with his bedtime biscuit. And loves looking out of the windows just in case a squirrel appears
What I wish I’d known about Cockapoos is...
Tendency to allergies, getting knots in fur, mud wallowing, picking up things to carry / chew especially plastic rubbish
