Say Hello to Ted

My favourite thing about Ted is...
He’s so loveable! He gets jealous if we have a cuddle and leave him out, he jumps up and we have to pick him up so he can snuggle in too!
The biggest challenge with Ted is...
He can be very stubborn! He trained really easily but sometimes he likes to ignore certain commands - for example ‘come’ he knows what it means and comes to us in the house, but outdoors he can be a little stubborn when there’s other distractions. We’re still working on this (he’s just under 2)
The most surprising thing about owning a Cockapoo is...
How vocal they can be - especially at people walking by the window! - he has never been aggressive and just wants to greet everyone!
What I wish I’d known about Cockapoos is...
How bad they’re separation anxiety can be. He hasn’t ruined furniture but he has chewed letters and other things that haven’t been put back in their place. He can also howl and pace. This has took a lot of training to help support him to be confident to be left alone (for a maximum of 4 hours)
