My favourite thing about George is...
We really do love everything about George. He has really brought so much love and happiness to our lives that we didn’t know we were missing! We already had one dog when we got him and he was the perfect fit. He is so loving, caring, cuddly & loves to help us bring the shopping in. George isn’t my pet, he is my EVERYTHING. I couldn’t live without him.
The biggest challenge with George is...
His love for slippers, soft toys & anything he can possibly carry is something we didn’t necessarily train him to do, we love the trait nonetheless… even when I am leaving the house and in a rush to find my shoes that he has left somewhere!
The most surprising thing about owning a Cocker Spaniel (English) is...
Lead training was not easy!! 18 months in and we still haven’t cracked it perfectly - he walks to heal PERFECTLY off the lead though! I was well aware they are working dogs with extreme exercise needs but my goodness, the more you exercise George, the more energy he has!!
What I wish I’d known about Cocker Spaniels (English) is...
Their huge hearts. They are the most loving, loyal dog you will ever have. George will do anything to make his family happy.
