Meet Soya

Cocker Spaniel (English), 9 Months old

🌆 City dog
🍷 Lives with adults only

My favourite thing about Soya is...

Soya is a sucker for attention and cuddles. I love how expressive she is with her face (she pulls the funniest faces) that always lets me know what she's feeling or what she wants, even when she's being cheeky.

The biggest challenge with Soya is...

Her energy. She is such a ball of energy and it's hard sometimes to take the time to take her out for longer so that we come home and she is exhausted from all the running/playing around with other pups.

The most surprising thing about owning a Cocker Spaniel (English) is...

Their intelligence. Soya is extremely intelligent, sometimes even too much for her own good!

What I wish I’d known about Cocker Spaniels (English) is...

How much energy they have and how to properly adapt to match this so that she gets as much exercise as she needs. This is something we learned as Soya grew into her teens, but they need a LOT of exercise so that they don't destroy your socks at home!

Did you know?

Cocker Spaniel’s paw pads inspired the sole for the first ever boat shoes when Paul Sperry witnessed his dog running on ice without a problem.
