Meet Tilly
Cocker Spaniel (English), 11 Months old
My favourite thing about Tilly is...
she loves to get as physically close to you as she can. It can be a misfortune at times, like when you are trying to drink tea. Out of nowhere, she appears on your lap.
The biggest challenge with Tilly is...
she likes to steal gloves but we have now trained her to get the other one. She will even try to steal a shoe you are trying to put on! Tilly doesn't chew them though. She is really good.
The most surprising thing about owning a Cocker Spaniel (English) is...
just how affectionate they are. Tilly is friendly with everyone and always wanting to play. She seems to know what speed she can run with them though and will slow down if they can't keep up with her - humans and dogs.
What I wish I’d known about Cocker Spaniels (English) is...
just how much hair they shed. You find it absolutely everywhere!
