Meet Rosie
Cocker Spaniel (English) & Cocker Spaniel (English), 7 Months old
My favourite thing about Rosie is...
Rosie is an adorable puppy however she is confident around large dogs & loves playing with all dogs in the field nearby. She also loves people & especially our grandchildren. Rosie is mischievous continuing to eat anything she finds & running off with shoes & slippers. She is always chewing on the children's toys & their socks.
The biggest challenge with Rosie is...
We are trying to teach Rosie to come back when let off her lead & to fetch her ball when thrown to her. Also not to chase after other dogs particularly if their owners don’t want other dogs to mix with their dog. We want her to learn how to swim in the sea eventually but starting with walk in ponds.
The most surprising thing about owning a Cocker Spaniel (English) & Cocker Spaniel (English) is...
Rosie is very affectionate & loves being picked up & cuddled. She loves playing ruff & tumble with other dogs. Rosie loves being around us & loved coming on holiday with us in our motorhome to Isle of Wight.
What I wish I’d known about Cocker Spaniels (English) & Cocker Spaniels (English) is...
Rosie is funny & a loving dog. She enjoys her walks & but does not like climbing over styles or cattle gates.
Did you know?
Cocker Spaniel’s paw pads inspired the sole for the first ever boat shoes when Paul Sperry witnessed his dog running on ice without a problem.
