Say Hi to Dolly

Dachshund (Long Haired), 2 years old

🌳 Countryside dog
🍼 Lives with children
Dolly was adopted!

She came from This dog rescue .

My favourite thing about Dolly is...

Dolly loves to play on the trampoline with her human siblings, and even has a bounce by herself when no one is looking.

The biggest challenge with Dolly is...

Being a rescue, from The Balkans, she came to us a very insecure and worried pup. It's been wonderful watching her grow into a playful, kind and loving member of our family. She had to learn to be a puppy again and is now carefree and happy.

The most surprising thing about owning a Dachshund (Long Haired) is...

She is not that hairy! As long as she has regular brushes, she doesn't lose that much around the house.

What I wish I’d known about Dachshunds (Long Haired) is...

They love to hoard socks, chew and rip up paper. They love to make a good mess!

Did you know?

The Dachshund is really a terrier type, bred to go to ground and either flush out quarry or hold it at bay until hunters could dig down to them.
