Too much excitement. Acts very differently with different family members, very sensitive & likes a strict routine.
The most surprising thing about owning a Hungarian Vizsla is...
They need to be taught how to calm down & when to sleep. They get over stimulated & then just can not control themselves.
What I wish I’d known about Hungarian Vizslas is...
To be stricter than we are with our other breeds. Kind, posivitive consistent rules are more important with a Vizsler otherwise they are easily confused & frustrated. They need organised & very patient people. They enjoy very strict routines & thrive on them. Very highly strung & sensitive. Can become loving & cuddly or nervous & timid if not reassured by a positive calm routine.
