Let's say hello to Lola
Hungarian Vizsla, 2 years old
My favourite thing about Lola is...
Very affectionate. Likes to carry things but because of her unfortunate start in life she doesn’t like to be alone and needs lots of excursions.
The biggest challenge with Lola is...
Really just the fact that you can’t leave her alone as she is still very insecure. It’s not her fault. I hope she will grow out of this when she becomes more trusting!
The most surprising thing about owning a Hungarian Vizsla is...
Lola is not our first Visla. Was lost our beloved Rio in March this year. She was 15 years old and also a rescue. They are kind and reliable but need plenty exercise and are not suitable to live in built up areas.
What I wish I’d known about Hungarian Vizslas is...
You’ve got to like walking and have access to open countryside!
Did you know?
Known as dogs who originally hunted alongside falcons, it is said that they still have a natural affinity for birds of prey.
