The biggest challenge with MR Benn is...
Coping with him being very vocal towards other dogs...cats...motorcycles... mobility scooters... He's known jokingly around the neighborhood as Asbo Dog 🙂
The most surprising thing about owning a Jack Russell Terrier & Norfolk Terrier is...
The high prey drive. Anything that moves puts him in Terrier Mode and all he focuses on is whatever he's wanting to chase. No amount of shouting, whistling, making funny noises, whatever, snaps him out of it. He'll patiently wait for 45 minutes by a tree he's seen a squirrel run up. His concentration is amazing. Recall not so much 😂
What I wish I’d known about Jack Russell Terriers & Norfolk Terriers is...
How cuddly he is. He randomly comes to me throughout the day, waves his paws in the air and demands to be picked up and cuddled. I pick him up and walk to the nearest chair, sit and cuddle him. It's like opening a furry toddler.
