Say Hello to Dolly

Japanese Chin, 6 years old

🌳 Countryside dog
🍼 Lives with children

My favourite thing about Dolly is...

Dolly is tiny but takes in any walking challenge she loves to be out and about . At home she likes to keep a close eye on the greenhouse and makes daily inspections. She has a tiny cat ball we call ‘little red’ that is her favourite toy she will play fetch for ages with him and is also partial to a tiny tennis ball . She catches with her front paws like a cat and prefers to sit up on a perch.

The biggest challenge with Dolly is...

Being quick enough with treats as she passes comment for the entire time she is kept waiting

The most surprising thing about owning a Japanese Chin is...

They do lots and lots of spinning around and are quite wild and crazy, Dolly struts not walks

What I wish I’d known about Japanese Chins is...

They are very funny and engaging tiny dogs with huge personalities and massive hearts but if they don’t take to you straight away there is no changing their minds
