Beau was adopted!

My favourite thing about Beau is...

How quickly we have bonded. She was very nervous when I visited her at the sanctuary. After a number of visits we built up a level of trust and when I finally got her home she seemed to understand that she had a new home. Her trust in me is absolute now. If I leave her with my Nan she waits by the back gate and won't budge until income back. And when ginger back she spins in circles and hugs my le

The biggest challenge with Beau is...

She is very nervous and wary of new people. And her anxiety towards other dogs is a hurdle were yet to tackle. Their must be a reason for this extremly hightened behaviour. Something from her past before i adopted her but it is something we will work on together. She is my first dog and I love her completely to bits

The most surprising thing about owning a Pomeranian is...

How much she sheds, but we have a routine. First thing in the morning...it's belly rubs followed by a good brush...And then I'm allowed to have my coffee

What I wish I’d known about Pomeranians is...

Pomeranians can be quite stubborn I'm told and my little girl is certainly no exception. She can be awkward about what she's not going to eat. I buy multi flavour packs of wet food for instance, but he isnt keen on one of the flavours. So i try to make it a game and end up hand feeding her the meat chunks as treats when it's the days she is given that flavour.
