My favourite thing about Pierre is...
He knows far too much, tells me when it's time to get up, reminds me it's coffee time as he then gets a treatt. He is good with the other dogs and marvellous with the grandchildren and just loves to play.
The biggest challenge with Pierre is...
He is too attached to me; he is never more than 2ft away from me, he's there when i use the bathroom and lays on the mat when I have a shower but O wouldn't be without my beautiful boy.
The most surprising thing about owning a Pomeranian is...
They are so loyal and loving and attach themselves to one person; he takes himself up to bed when he is tired.
What I wish I’d known about Pomeranians is...
How much grooming they need they have a double coat and need to be brushed every day.

When Poms first came to the UK, they were very much the canine supermodels of the time. Artist Gainsborough was particularly taken with the Pomeranian dog breed and painted them several times. This was possibly what led to their popularity — especially among the aristocracy.
