Say Hello to Tarzan

Turkish Kangal, 5 years old

🌆 City dog

Tarzan was adopted!

My favourite thing about Tarzan is...

He crosses his front paws when in laying down. He is charming and nudges for more fuss. He is very loyal and follows me everywhere I go. Very calm and loves to snooze 😴. Very clever and is full of kisses. He has shown such strength of character with the transition from street dog in Turkey to becoming an amazing member of our family in house in the Uk.

The biggest challenge with Tarzan is...

Teaching him English!

The most surprising thing about owning a Turkish Kangal is...

How much of a gentle giant he is.

What I wish I’d known about Turkish Kangals is...

He is a crossbreed Turkish Kangol and I thought he would loose alot of fur, but he doesn't. So no concerns about his breed he is an absolute joy.

Did you know?

The Turkish Kangal Dog was developed as a livestock guardian breed - their role is to remain with the flock without a handler, alert the flock to danger and if necessary, deal with that threat themselves.
