PRO PLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Feline NF St/Ox Renal Function Mousse Wet Cat Food

A complete wet cat food diet for the support of renal function in case of chronic renal insufficiency in adult cats. Formulated with restricted but high-quality proteins and low level of phosphorus to help slow the progression of chronic kidney disease. This diet has a great taste to satisfy renal patients with reduced appetite.

It is not suitable for cats that require a high protein or phosphorus intake, such as pregnant queens and growing kittens.

This is a veterinary diet that should always be fed under veterinary supervision.

Please note that all indications for Purina Veterinary Diets mentioned on this website are for the dietary support of the dog (or cat) with the listed condition and do not preclude appropriate medical management. The veterinary diets should be used under veterinary supervision.

Where to buy

Chronic renal failure is one of the most common and important diseases in older cats. The risk of developing it in cats over ten years of age increases approximately 4-5 fold, and the risk in cats over 15 years of age increases approximately 20 fold.

This is a veterinary diet for cats diagnosed with kidney disease – and should always be fed under vet supervision. It is not suitable for cats that require a high protein or phosphorus intake, such as pregnant queens and growing kittens.

A gradual transition to a new diet may be especially helpful in cats with CRF. Cats with CRF that remain inappetent or anorexic cats should be assessed for nausea and uraemic gastritis. Warming the product to room temperature can enhance palatability for cats with a fussy appetite.

Where adequate fluid intake is a concern, the PURINA® PRO PLAN® VETERINARY DIETS NF St/Ox Renal Function™ wet formula is strongly recommended. Cats with chronic renal failure should be fed Feline NF St/Ox Renal Function for life.
