Feeding guide
For an average Senior cat (4kg), feed 3 pouches per day in at least 2 separate meals. The Senior maintenance averages are based on moderately active cats at normal environmental temperatures. Individual needs vary and feeding should be adjusted as required to maintain your cat at a lean, healthy body weight. Serve at room temperature. Clean, fresh drinking water should always be available.
Initially, my cat was quite sceptical about this new food, taking her time to eat and mostly picking out the jelly while ignoring the chunks. However, by the second day, she seemed to warm up to it a bit more, eating with greater enthusiasm, although it still didn’t quite match her fondness for her usual wet food.
The product itself has a visually appealing presentation, with a nice balance of jelly and chunks that resembles a well-prepared meal rather than a solid slab. The colour and smell aligned well with the expected flavour profile.
As the days went on, I noticed my cat started to eat more quickly and even meowed for more, suggesting she was slowly transitioning from her regular food to this new option. Having tried many Felix products, this one felt comparable, though it didn’t quite reach the popularity of another version she enjoys more.
Overall, while it may not dethrone her favourite, it certainly seems to be a solid choice and received a warm reception in our home.
