I started my cat Jenny on this food about 6 months ago and her condition, coat and appetite has markedly improved. She came to us from RSPCA a few years back, with instructions about what food to avoid as she was quite sensitive to certain foods, so I’ve always been careful with what I give her.
Last spring she had terrible trouble with hairballs and would cough and gag on most days, which was distressing to see her like that. After trying a few different hairball remedies that she wouldn’t eat or had no effect, I spotted this food in Sainsbury’s and thought I’d give it a go.
Within the first few weeks she had put on weight (she was always very weak and thin, you could feel her spine as you stroked her) and her coat was much thicker and shinier. She now looks so much healthier, she’s got a good covering of muscle over her back, can no longer feel her back bone, and although she has had a couple of hairballs she seems to be able to expel them easier, rather than having days of coughing and struggling.
I’ll keep her on this food now, she wolfs it down too, so I think she’s pretty happy with that plan!
