Feeding guide
Suitable for puppies from 4 months old. The recommended period of use is 3 to 8 weeks. If signs of intolerance disappear, this feed can be used initially up to one year. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Water should always be available. (1)Adult. (2)Puppy. For dogs over 70kg: for each additional 5kg of body weight, feed an additional 30g of pet food.
When feeding dry and wet Canine HA, for each addition of 200g wet, reduce by 50g dry kibble.

Common questions about Pro Plan Veterinary Diets
Changes in diet can be stressful for your dog and can lead to digestive upsets.
At some point, you may need to change your dog’s diet and the best way to do this to reduce the likelihood of a tummy upset, is slowly!
A gradual transition will give your dog (and their stomach) a chance to adjust to the new food and should take around 7-10 days to complete. However, if you know your pet has a sensitive stomach this time frame should be extended.
Here’s a guide to help
Days 1 to 2: Feed 3/4 of the normal amount of current food and add 1/4 of the new food.
Days 3 to 4: Serve half the current food and half the new food.
Days 5 to 7: Feed 3/4 of the new food and 1/4 the previous food.
Days 8 to 10: Serve only the new food.
If your dog isn’t adjusting to the new food or experiences any digestive upsets, you can try extending the transition over a few more days or get in touch with your vet for advice. They may suggest a different diet or even adding a probiotic to support the gut through the change.
If your other pet doesn’t need a special diet, we recommend that you double check with your vet before feeding.
Some diets are perfectly safe to feed, while others, such as a renal or urinary diet may cause problems in pets that don’t necessarily need it.

PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS should be fed following the guidance of a veterinary surgeon. Whilst many of them are fine to feed, some can be contra-indicated for growth, which means that it may affect your pup's development.
