Meet Twizzle
Bichon Frise & Chihuahua (Smooth Coat), 9 years old
He came from Forest Lodge, Milton Keynes.
My favourite thing about Twizzle is...
He is very loving once he knows you and trusts you. We believe he was abused before rescue, but once he knows a person, adult or child, he is very loving. He is also good with the 2 cats. He loves to explore new places on holiday etc; and is generally well behaved in cafes or pubs.
The biggest challenge with Twizzle is...
Sometimes he kicks off at other dogs. Strangely he gets on OK with smaller dogs, but larger breeds he seems to have a problem with. We THINK he may have lived with bigger dogs prior to rescue and they bullied him or took his food.

Just how territorial he can be. This comes from the chihuahua. He always shouts at visitors he doesn't recognise, the postie, delivery driver etc.

Not so much about the breeds, but he had some behavioural issues as a result of his previous owners, and it would have been good to know what his triggers are. His behaviour has improved massively since we acquired him and gave him stability.
