Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired), 3 years old
My favourite thing about Edie is...
She is super cuddly and wants to snuggle all day. She will happily come into bed with you and even snuggle under the duvet with her head on the pillow! She is an excellent little guard dog, barking when people come near the house and sounds much bigger than she is! She is really well house trained and never damages anything even if left alone.
The biggest challenge with Edie is...
That she can be quite anxious, possibly because we got her just before the first COVID lockdown though I know other female Daschund owners who say the same.

How much they love to cuddle up to you or sit on your knee. Also how well she gets on with our cats.

They don't like to be alone so definitely suit a retired or stay at home person best.
