Meet Merlin
English Setter, 7 years old
He came from A Bosnian Rescue.
My favourite thing about Merlin is...
His silly setter grin! And his really loving nature and gentle manner.
The biggest challenge with Merlin is...
His recall! He does not like to come back after a seaside outing. This is due to spending his first year of life in a breeding kennel, in a cage on concrete. He is not a large doggie due to his length of time squashed in a cage and he loves to run. He was going to be destroyed if we hadn't taken him as his breeder did not want him. He didn't know what he was rejecting!
The most surprising thing about owning a English Setter is...
The amount of love inside there.
