My favourite thing about Hamish is...
His boundless enthusiasm for life, he says “Yes” to everything! He is so funny and excitable and seems to understand everything we say, he is also so affectionate and cuddly and really enjoys a snuggle of an evening. He is my first dog and I couldn’t have asked for a better boy than him, he is an absolute pleasure.

The most surprising thing about owning a English Springer Spaniel is...
The calm moments, everyone warns you about the hours of exercise they need and the constant entertainment you need to provide but it’s not all true, there are peaceful moments with them when they are snuggly and calm and enjoy a cuddle.
What I wish I’d known about English Springer Spaniels is...
You’ll need plenty of old clothes that you won’t mind getting muddy on wet walks, they do like getting out and about in all weathers so keep those old worn out jeans and coats so your best clothes don’t get ruined!
