Greetings from Moss
English Springer Spaniel, 3 years old
My favourite thing about Moss is...
He is super loving, super friendly and just loves life. He's a typical Springer with his zoomies and luny tune moments, but then loves his time out periods resting on settee. He does dog agility loving every moment. He also loves jumping in the rivers on his field walks popping his head up to say look at me mum & wet and muddy. Moss is a very happy dog, with his long ears and top knot.
The biggest challenge with Moss is...
Focus when gone off sniffing which is a typical ESP trait.
The most surprising thing about owning a English Springer Spaniel is...
As said his sniffing which will always be a work in progress but it's in his DNA . Their true loyalty to you they will be your soul mate for life. The happy outgoing disposition they have. They fit being a companion dog, a working dog or a sports dog.
What I wish I’d known about English Springer Spaniels is...
Though they're good all round dogs, as they are a gun dog breed they do need exercise and mental stimulation otherwise I can see them getting bored and depressed - need a balance between rest and play.
