My favourite thing about Rufus is...
His excited spins when he gets up in the morning, he starts calm but when he realises it’s time to get up he just spins and then is like okay let’s go, and his check-ins when we are walking; I’ll catch him glancing at me to make sure he’s doing what he should be.

His fear barking when our neighbour's dog goes to the garden and he hears them - he will bark until they go back inside, sometimes his over-excitedness around new people in the house can be difficult.

How clever they are; he learns new things in minutes and if you try to trick him he will figure this out and be like "nope, not that dumb!"

The amount of energy they have and work required to give them a happy life - mine is a working dog so needs that stimulation which is great, but made the younger months when he was a pup difficult figuring it out!
