Meet George

George is a good-natured dog who loves being part of the family and often becomes your shadow as you walk around the house or garden. He’s great with my two girls (12 and 9) and quite happily lets them bundle him up and hug him in the most ridiculous positions. They would describe him as fluffy, playful and lover of cuddles.

He is very smart – I often forget he is a dog. He learns very quickly and whilst this is good for first time dog owners like ourselves, this also means we often forget to be disciplined with his training. For example, when we sit down in an evening and have a snack in front of the TV, George always expects a snack too.

How well he has fitted into our family. George has turned our lives upside down from changing the way we holiday, owning my wife’s favourite chair to constantly having to clean the floor of muddy pawprints. As well as needing regular walks, lots of training and entertainment. He is a dog that has lots of energy, needs your time and whilst its hard work, we all love him and his personality.

The amazing thing about George’s coat is how soft it is all year round and the fact it doesn’t shed but what we didn’t expect was how fast it would grow and that we would need to cut it every 6 weeks. Its also been a bit of trial and error in terms of how to communicate to the groomer how we want him to look.
