Say Hi to Fagin

My favourite thing about Fagin is...
How he "mothers" our 18mth old cats and how he is with other dogs, hoomans and other animals(especially hedgehogs). He has been guiding younger dogs in etiquette on his walks!! He is protective,has empathy and loves fiercely. He can also act the clown! I've always had GSDs and he is one of the BEST EVER💖
The biggest challenge with Fagin is...
He doesn't realise he's 9yrs 7mths old and slowing down. He loves his ball and will play all day given a chance which is getting too much for him.
The most surprising thing about owning a German Shepherd Dog is...
I don't know,I grew up with this breed. They all have certain traits...herding their "pack" VERY loyal but every one I've had has had their own quirks too. They're known for intelligence but can be very stubborn!!
What I wish I’d known about German Shepherd Dogs is...
They can come with health issues such as hip dysplasia which can be expensive to deal with. DON'T get this breed unless you have the time they need.They learn quite quickly.. Need a minimum of 2hrs walking daily and plenty of mental stimulation. If you can't give them this not tbe breed for you!
