Meet Ziva

She is very loyal. She never goes out of my sight, unless there is a cat or deer to chase. She is far too clever, being able to open most doors. She also has a knack of letting you know exactly what she wants. She loves to open presents and cardboard boxes, whether they are hers or not! She gets more excited about the wine delivery than I do, did I mention she likes a cardboard box?

She is very selective on who she likes and is very protective. This can result in barking at people, especially if they come too close or at a pace. She prefers bigger dogs, as she has had several smaller dogs "have a go". She likes a confident dog, this bolsters her own confidence. GSD's are also one of the more vocal breeds and will let you know if there is a delivery somewhere in the village!

You will never do anything alone again. They have a tendency to lie in the place that all exits can be seen, so you don't sneak out without them. This usually means in the doorway and will only move after you have taken the step over them! The tricks they are willing to do to please you, so easy to train. So easily deaf when they want to be!

I've had 3 now, each and every one is different. After having to very friendly GSD's, Ziva is the most unpredictable, especially with men. They certainly keep you on your toes. Just be aware of who is training who, they are excellent teachers 😂 Never give up training, they love to learn but can be destructive if left to their own devices.
