My favourite thing about Happy Dog is...
Happy Dog truly lives up to his name! I've lost count of the number of times when out and someone says what a happy dog he is and I say "that's his name!" He is a very good boy who more often than not wants to say hello to humans before another dog, although he loves to play very much!
The biggest challenge with Happy Dog is...
Well, I've got to say two things. His need to say hello to anyone and everyone, regardless of whether he has ever met them before - I know it's not exactly a challenge.....He forever wants to give you his paw, I've never trained him to do this and it is highly inconvenient when I'm trying to put his harness on!
The most surprising thing about owning a Golden Retriever is...
For this particular one it has to be how he's never actually been swimming, despite having been to a beach many times - I thought they were supposed to love the water!
What I wish I’d known about Golden Retrievers is...
That I should have got one much sooner!
