My favourite thing about Clover is...

She is stubborn and won't do anything she doesn't want to do.

The biggest challenge with Clover is...

She rips things up which has included my diary, books & letters.

The most surprising thing about owning a Greyhound is...

How different they all are in size, colour, temperament. How little room they can take up, they curl up quite small but they also can take up a lot of space. You lose your couch, they stretch out & reach with their long legs in the air. They don't need lots of exercise and will sleep most of the day.

What I wish I’d known about Greyhounds is...

Be patient. They have lived in kennels, most unless they've been fostered will never have lived in a home. They don't know the rules. Treat them as you would do a puppy as regards making sure they go out after eating and drinking to go to the toilet. They are intelligent animals and will soon learn what is expected of them. Because of their size they can counter surf so don't leave food within their reach.

Did you know?

While they are gentle by nature, their natural hunting instinct is always present and owners must be willing to take on the necessary responsibilities that go with the breed.
