Meet Fetchy Von Stickenball

Greyhound, 5 years old

🏠 Suburbs dog
🍼 Lives with children
Fetchy Von Stickenball was adopted!

He came from Greyhound Trust .

My favourite thing about Fetchy Von Stickenball is...

How utterly lazy and derpy this beautiful boy is! People think greyhounds need lots of exercise but they're super lazy and prefer cuddles and snoozing! He lays on the sofa in the weirdest positions and laps up the attention that having a family and a home brings!

The biggest challenge with Fetchy Von Stickenball is...

Fetchy is a rescue ex-racer. They are trained not to show emotion, so the most he'll do is chatter his teeth and maybe do a little tippy tappy dance, so letting him know that it's ok to be loved and he excited about it was the hardest thing.

The most surprising thing about owning a Greyhound is...

How utterly lazy they are!

What I wish I’d known about Greyhounds is...

Racing is a very abusive practice and they need a lot of training, love, time and patience to get better.

Did you know?

The Greyhound is an ancient breed having been depicted in ancient art more than 6000 years ago.
