The most surprising thing about owning a Japanese Akita is...
He is an American Akita not a Japanese . Before we got him everyone was telling us that Akitas can be aggressive. He has been with us for two years now and the only thing I can say with certainty is that it all goes down to the environment Akitas grow into. Aris has been the most affectionate guard dog, very productive of his family and very respectful of his home.

He is an American not a Japanese Akita. You may need to update your records. The one thing that no one warned us about was the little lake that forms on the floor every time an Akita drinks water😊
