My favourite thing about Bella is...

her loyalty, love, pretty face and she’s my best friend

The biggest challenge with Bella is...

pulling on lead, attention span

The most surprising thing about owning a Labrador Retriever is...

they can be your dog - most stereotypes of labradors are that they are family dogs, yes they are perfect family dogs but they are also perfect for your own dog, if you give them enough love and attention they can be the best dogs and see you as they’re world and everything surrounding. they are great as therapy type dogs and perfect for helping mental state due to the loyalty and low maintenance

What I wish I’d known about Labrador Retrievers is...

their attention span is not as perfect as made out by others so it can take a lot for them to focus and keep focus and they also have to be desensitised to people, dogs, basically the outside world. they are not born relaxed and calm you have to be prepared to go out on walks daily to get them used to things like that, if you live in a busy household then it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
