My favourite thing about Jasper is...
He is so mischievious, has a lovely temperament and is completely bonkers. He is great company, a lovable rogue who is great with kids and dogs alike. He is also a very protective dog who makes me feel really safe.
The biggest challenge with Jasper is...
Tiring him out; he is a bundle of energy who is super smart so he needs a lot of walks and a lot of training and stimulation.
The most surprising thing about owning a Labrador Retriever is...
Their insatiable zest for life; most people believe labs are couch potatoes, that is simply not true, they are working dogs so need to be kept active and stimulated. But they are well worth the effort!
What I wish I’d known about Labrador Retrievers is...
Do your research, make sure you can keep up with lifestyle a labrador needs. They are active dogs.
