Gus loves his blankets. He burrows underneath them to get cosy. He also loves zoomies, jumping from one sofa to the other. His favourite treat is raw carrots. And he loves snuggling into his human mum and dad.

Thinking EVERY dog wants to say hello and play. Pinching socks off the clothes airer and eating the mail as it comes through the letter box.
The most surprising thing about owning a Manchester Terrier is...
How clever they are, and it's all on their terms! Throw a ball and they will bring it back once, throw it again and you get a look of indignation! They are fast, escapees and always up for a chase.
What I wish I’d known about Manchester Terriers is...
I have had two MT's. But I wish I'd known how much they melt your heart with their quircky character, intelligence and determination. They need lots and lots of challenges and attention to keep their active minds satisfied.

The Manchester Terrier is often said to resemble the Dobermann in miniature, however the truth is, it is the other way round. The Dobermanns creator, Herr Louis Dobermann, used Manchester Terriers to create his breed.
