Hello from Teddy

Morkie, 2 years old

🏠 Suburbs dog
🍼 Lives with children

My favourite thing about Teddy is...

He always wants to be friends with everyone he meets and he tries desperately to get his cat brother and sister (Elvis and Priscilla) to like him. He’s doing a great job as they have slowly moved from disliking him to tolerating him!!

The biggest challenge with Teddy is...

Never being able to leave socks, pens or shoes where he can reach them - he like to hoard the socks and shoes and destroy the pens. Many times I have found him with a blue muzzle after stealing a pen and chewing it up!!

The most surprising thing about owning a Morkie is...

As cute and small as they are they definitely are not just a lap dog and need a fairly good amount of exercise.

What I wish I’d known about Morkies is...

They are clever little dogs and so need stimulation to keep them happy and occupied. They pick up commands really quickly (although may sometimes choose to ignore them!)

Did you know?

Morkies are really tiny at birth, weighing usually a little less than 140 grams.
