Meet Betsy

Pug, 11 Months old

🏠 Suburbs dog
🍷 Lives with adults only

My favourite thing about Betsy is...

She has such a funny little face! Even when she is naughty you have to forgive her!

The biggest challenge with Betsy is...

Betsy was born blind and her brain has not quite developed the way it should. She does not quite understand she is ok to be left to sleep with her siblings over night and panics if I am not close by. Because of this I have been sleeping on the sofa for the past 9 months! Initially waking every 2hrs but now we are getting 5/6 hours sleep! I am reading and knitting a lot! Betsy deserves a chance.

The most surprising thing about owning a Pug is...

They are comedians! Very loving amd very obstinate.

What I wish I’d known about Pugs is...

Health issues! Eye problems are common and the number of blind or one eyed pugs always saddens me. Also breathing problems have to be considered before you decide on a Pug.

Did you know?

The Pug dog breed is often described as the Latin phrase “multum in parvo” which means “much in little”, referring to their big personality, despite their small size.
