Meet Cerbero Antonio
Pug, 3 years old
My favourite thing about Cerbero Antonio is...
He is the best home office partner. He sleeps all day, and enjoys some in between meeting hugs and kisses (besides he has the cutest snores). He knows the routine, he spends time with his dad in the morning (eating, potty walking, etc.) and then when dad leaves for work he stays at home with mom.
The biggest challenge with Cerbero Antonio is...
He doesn't like to be alone. Though he is the best companion for any human, it is heart breaking when we have to leave home without him. He makes sure to cry enough to let you know he doesn't like it. For us this has been quite a challenge on deciding taking longer vacations for instance.
The most surprising thing about owning a Pug is...
How clever and naughty they can be. With that cute wrinkled face and cute snores you would think they won't be naughty. But they find ways to steal food, or to climbing in to bed (or places they shouldn't).
What I wish I’d known about Pugs is...
First, this is a really stubborn breed. They will manipulate you and control your life (if you let them). Second thing, is their heat strokes. They are not meant for long walks, neither to a very heat weather. As a responsible owner you have to make sure you are not putting them at risks "trying to push them" to walk more than they are able to, or not paying attention when their breathing changes.
