Greetings from Winter

She is probably the most beautiful Saluki I've ever seen. She lives for the hunt and whether she's lure coursing or mooching, the chase is her life. She is everything a Saluki should be, she has her name because she is pure white, and with her long ear and tail feathers streaming as she runs, the sun or moon light makes her shine like a pearl.

Separation anxiety; Salukis will bond very closely with one person and mostly can't care less about anyone else. Winter wants to be with me every second of the day, I have made many life changes since I also want to be with her and my other dogs as much as possible.

I've had them all my life, as family dogs then as my own dogs. The thing that most surprises the uninitiated is that Salukis CAN be let off the lead and CAN learn to have excellent and immediate recall.

Salukis are not really a first time dog, best get something easier first to gain experience, ALWAYS choose an ethical preservation breeder whose dogs are proven in the field and show ring, NEVER go to a backyard breeder. If you want to rescue, rescue is fine, there are several Saluki specific breed rescues in Britain.
