Let us introduce Marley
Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 9 years old
My favourite thing about Marley is...
Marley can do many tricks - he can hug, sit, lie down, play dead, paw, hi5, and knuckles! He is very vocal and speaks to my mum all the time when he wants something: he also paws his bowl when he gets hungry to inform us he would like his supper. He also doesn’t like the rain and will refuse to go outside even if he needs the toilet until the rain stops, living in Scotland we get a lot of rain 😂
The biggest challenge with Marley is...
Marley has separation anxiety and dislikes other dogs, when he was young our house was broken into and he was abducted. The person who stole him was going to train him to fight other dogs and put steroids into him. With the help of community, court and police Scotland he was safely returned to us. Since then we have been facing challenges of his anxiety and protection over my mum.
The most surprising thing about owning a Staffordshire Bull Terrier is...
They love their family so much! They are not bad dogs only bad owners!!
What I wish I’d known about Staffordshire Bull Terriers is...
I wish I could have stopped him from being abducted as I wonder if he would have less challenges to face going forward
